2025 Syracuse Ukrainian Festival
Very Special “Thank You” to Taraz Serafyn for chairing this year’s Ukrainian Festival.
His dedication, along with the Festival Committee and all the parish volunteers who
came out to help, made this year’s festival a success.
I also wish to thank Nick and Chelsea Fruscello for their help with planning and their guidance with the transitioning of a new chair-person.
Special “Thank You” goes to Iryna Movchko, Olya Pelesh ko, Yevheniya Shpak and the kitchen crew volunteers who, this year, made a record number of pyrohy for the festival. It is the delicious food made by these volunteers that keeps the people coming to our festival each year!
A very special “Thank You” to Svitlana Bidna for organizing the entertainment program, highlighting our rich Ukrainian Culture. Thank you to the beautiful voices of our Church Choir and Kalyna, as well as the thrilling dancing from Odesa Dance Ensemble.
Thank you to the Apostleship of Prayer and all the parish ioners who baked scrumptious treats for the bake booth. A special “Thank You” goes to Vasyl & Oksana Grabovyy, Ivanka Fedyk and all their family and friends who took time from their busy schedules to bake poppy filled and apricot filled breads for the festival bake booth.
Thank you also goes to all the generous parishioners who donated items towards this year’s basket raffles. Without your help, the parish would not be able to showcase such beautiful baskets.
Most importantly, I wish to thank all the parishioners and non parishioners who came to this year’s festival and supported our parish’s biggest fundraising event.
May God Grant All of you Many Happy Years
Mnohaya Lita!
Father Mihai
